Groundwater

The water resource is indispensable to life. While often hidden and unseen, it is fragile and often vulnerable to numerous sources of contamination that result from human activities. The treatment of contaminated groundwater can be a lengthy and costly process that may be unfeasible in some cases. This is why adequate protection of groundwater is so vital in order to minimize the threat of contamination.
